Ben C. Doherty

Ben leads the firm’s investment strategy, governance, and capital formation. He is actively involved across all phases of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and execution.

Before co-founding Eider Creek, Ben launched Eider Creek Capital, a Dallas-based industrial development firm. Previously, he spent over 22 years at Crow Holdings Capital (“CHC”) and its affiliates, where he was a senior member of the investment team and served on the firm’s Investment Committee. During his tenure, he played a central role in the growth of CHC’s industrial and self-storage platforms, with responsibility for investment strategy, team leadership, origination, and execution across multiple real estate cycles. He was also actively involved in the deployment and management of capital across CHC’s series of private equity real estate funds.

Mr. Doherty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
